The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions to your community.
SASSA will be rendering services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a statement, the agency stated it's alarmed concerning the superior range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a large quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“That is status sassa a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office committed to service the area each day. The service place designed for intervention experiences a significant influx of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it tricky for that Workplace to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more means to allow the servicing of all prospects and enhance access to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
